Discount Ram Hunts
The discount ram hunts cost $190.00 per person and we ask for a $50.00 deposit per person ( non-refundable). This includes 1 1/2 days guide fee, trophy fee for one ram, and bunkhouse lodging at the ranch. If you do not shoot a ram, then the charge is only $100.00 per person. There is no charge for non-hunters. The hunt is similar as a typical white tail deer hunt except for rams. Rams are not as wild as whitetail, so everyone shoulde have an opportunity to take one. We hunt mostly from blindfs with some walking. There are 6 types of rams to choose from (Corsican, Mouflon, White Texas Dall, Black Hawaiian, Rambo and New Zealand Goat).
There are currently some rams on the ranch with large blue tags in their right ear which require an additional $190.00 fee making the total hunt/trophy fee $380.00.
Ram hunts are currently held starting Saturday morning and ending Sunday at noon...You should plan on arriving Friday evening because the hunt starts early Saturday morning.
I welcome rifle (center fire), bow (compound and traditional), black powder and handgun hunting.
You will need to bring your own food, towels and sleeping bags. We have barbecue pits available, the lodge does has some indoor cooking facilities.
Of you desire I have a young man who currently charges $20.00 to skin and quarter your ram. I have a walk-in cooler at the ranch for overnight storage of your trophy.
The ranch is mountainous and ideal for rams which makes for a great hunt.
      
Exotic Hunts
My trophy exotic hunts are on several ranches close to Kerrville, Texas. The price vary by species. These hunts have a $125.00 per day guide fee in addition to the animal trophy fee. I recommend the Inn of the Hills in Kerrville (1-830-895-5000) for lodging and meals. They have a special low rate ($55.00 per night) for my hunters. The guide will meet you in the lobby of the hotel. There are local skinners, meat processors and taxidermists to take care of your trophy., Most of the hunting is "Safari Style" which is from a vehicle. Again I welcome rifle, bow (compound and traditional), black powder and handgun hunting.
We do not charge for non-hunters.
