Full service taxidermy is available and we can have your animal processed if you so desire.Just let us know and we will be glad to assist you in anyway that we can. Because these are private owned animals you don’t have to worry about seasons or licenses. No lodging or meals is included in the price however we do have a list of some very affordable hotels and restaurants in the area and would be glad to assist you with making those accommodations.

All hunts are priced based upon a “trophy fee” basis, which means if the hunter does not harvest or wound the animal the only charge is for the guiding and the guiding fee is $200 per day. All hunts are guided “one hunter with one guide”. If the animal is wounded, then the full amount of the hunting fee is due whether the animal is recovered or not. No meals or lodging are included, but there are reasonably priced restaurants and motels in the area. A 50% deposit is due in advance to reserve the hunt and the other 50% is due before the start of the hunt. Again, if no animal is harvested, the balance paid less the guiding fee will be refunded; however one half (50%) of the deposit will be forfeited if the hunter does not show up for the hunt on the date the hunt is scheduled and does not arrange for a mutual acceptable alternate date at least thirty (30) day in advance of the date of the hunt. NO hunting license is required on these hunts and these hunts are NOT required to be conducted during normal Kansas hunting season. If the hunter and the guide agree that a specific animal qualifies as an animal that can be harvested in accordance within the parameters of the specific hunt paid for by the hunter, then the animal “qualifies” for that hunt, regardless of what the animal ultimately scores, even if the score is higher or lower than the B&C score designated above for that particular hunt. If the hunter is not satisfied with any animal selected by the guide, then DO NOT SHOOT and go look for another animal. The guide will have sole discretion to determine what animal(s) qualify for the hunt you have booked. You will likely see animals that the guide will NOT allow you to harvest for a variety of reasons, including the animal being too young, the animal being of a quality that we do not want to harvest at this time or the animal being of an inferior or superior quality as compared to the quality hunt you booked.
The guide will have the unilateral right to terminate a hunt at any time at his sole discretion and refund all monies paid, less the applicable guide fees.

These hunts are being offered for a limited time only based on availability at our Wilson Carlsbad Ranch in San Angelo, Texas. The guidelines for the hunt are as below. Please give us a call if you have any additional questions that we can help you with. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get a “Texas Big Rack” at a price you can afford.
The bucks available for harvest must be (1) 5.5 years or older, (2) have at least 9 scoreable points, but no more than 10 scoreable (1 inch or longer) points and (3) the COMBINED total length of the G-4s must not exceed 4 inches. This later item means the buck can have 1” G-4 on one side and 3” G-4 on the other side, be 2” and 2”, be 1.5” and 2.5” or LESS than any of these examples, but not larger.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION to these rules must be made if the buck has a broken point or points; meaning a buck with a broken point(s) likely will not be available on this hunt, unless the guide feels the buck still qualifies.
The price is $1500 PLUS the hunter pays for all meals and lodging fees. If the hunter does not kill or wound an animal, the hunter owes only the $150 per day guide fee. The length of the hunt is two (2) days. Additional days may be available, subject to guide availability, at an additional cost of $150 per additional day.
