The Hunt

While you are hunting be our private guest in our brand new hand crafted lodge or stay in a local hotel. Great care has gone into planning the details and ammenities you will enjoy.  Our lodge features the most spectacular views both inside and out.  Custom log Queen over Queen bunkbeds occupy 2 of our 5 spacious bedrooms. Unique log furniture is in all the bedrooms and throughout the lodge.  At the end of a long day anyone will enjoy a relaxing bath/shower in one of our 4 bathrooms.  The wide wrap around deck gives you a view from any angle, while the private upper balconies off the bedrooms and gaming/loft area make you feel as if you are on top of the world.  Enjoy the crisp autumn air, a gorgeous sunset, as elk bugles echo down the canyon.  Satellite TV and comfortable couches make it easy to lounge and enjoy a good football game or movie.  Green Canyon Hot Springs is just at the bottom of the hill where you can soak any tired or sore muscles in their thermally heated hot pool. They are open daily in Sept. and on Friday & Saturdays from Oct 1st through the winter.

Info

You will be met at the lodge at 6pm the evening before the hunt or by appointment.   Because  the elk are the most active at day break, most of the hunting is done in the mornings, this will give you the best opportunity to get a nice bull.  The hunt ends at noon on your 3rd day. (ie. arrive Sunday evening leave Wed by noon).

Our professional guide staff are some of the best in the business and are eager to help you bag that trophy bull you've dreamed of.  We hunt on foot or 4-wheelers (Quads).   Because this is a private hunt, we are not bound by season dates, you don't have to draw to hunt and you don't have to purchase expensive out of state licenses.  You can also choose the weapon you want in which you are proficient; rifles, archery, or even black powder.  We can design a hunt as challenging as you would like.  Please let us know what your expectations are and we will tailor an experience just for you.
